For any of our electronic music lovers out there, Barely Alive will be at Amityville Music Hall on June 27th! 

It’s going to be an awesome party so be sure to check out their music. These guys are up and coming DJ’s that you definitely don’t want to miss. You might have heard their songs played by big names Adventure Club, Datsik, or Excision. 

While the two DJ’s have done many remixes, they also have their own material on their EP, “Lost In The Internet.” Their remixes for Getter and Virtual Riot both appeared in Beatport’s Dubstep Top 10 for some time.

Check out War of Ages’, “Collapse,” from their album “Eternal.” 

Coming out of Erie, PA, War of Ages sticks to the Metal/Hardcore scene  with the use of guitar harmonies and head banging breakdowns. They still stay tore to their faith in Christianity with their lyrics that makes them more influential than any other band. In a 2009 interview radio interview, 

They’ll be here tonight at Amityville Music Hall Leroy Hamp (lead singer) stated that as Christians, the band wants to, “make a difference in a world that’s covered in darkness.”

Add Sun Shy by Dresses to your summer playlist

Dresses, features Timothy Heller on vocals and piano, and Jared Ryan Maldonado on vocals and guitar. They have some catchy indie-pop songs that will have you clapping along with them. Timothy’s vocals and upbeat instrumentals really give them a unique sound.

The  Portland couple, (yes, they are a couple in real life), have a debut album out called Sun Shy and is available for you to check out. 

They first started out uploading acoustic covers to Youtube. But then, uploaded their first original song, “Blew My Mind.”
